We are a budding peer-to-peer recovery community in South LA. With connection as our driving force, we are working to share recovery resources, build recovery capital, and promote recovery. The journey to create LA Recovery Connect (LARC) began in 2005 when our founder, Thea Golden, was thrust into the recovery world via a documentary she produced. After years of traveling the US and learning from some of the largest and longest running recovery community organizations in the country, LARC came to be.

Long term, we are working to create a continuum of care for people in recovery. Join us as we build a recovery community to support individuals & families struggling with alcohol & substance use disorder.
